Not much to say this time around, but......

I will say this about the Help forum here on dA: I've found that to be a very good place for people to get help, and I've helped out there many times,

Personally, I'm a little angry that they're closing the Help forum here, but I'm afraid nothing anyone says will change the minds of the Staff that are closing it. There MIGHT be an up-side to it, though (In that people will flock to #WelcomeCenter if they need help)

Still, I can already see how people inquiring about things already covered in the FAQ will be ignored and thus, they'll be un-happy.

I HONESTLY thought that deviantART wouldn't sink any lower like it did a while ago, but, I guess I was fooled

Seeing as my efforts to help people with their problems aren't appreciated by a lot of people, there's going to be some changes made in the near future (Those of you who have made this apparent know who you are, but some of you have made my time worthwhile

)

That's pretty much their opinion, though, as far as I'm concerned. I, as well as other people, feel that the Help forum is pretty much the only way to get any useful help when you need it.

Getting help from the Help Desk is like pulling teeth, IMO, because if you have a question that's already covered in the FAQ, your inquiry will be ignored (I mean, come on. You can't expect EVERY deviantART newbie to read the FAQ right away, can you?)

Closing the helps forums is a wrong idea. I think.
I hate that ! Many many ppl needs help and there's a lot of ppl who want to help em. Like you, me, nad other friends from the ps.te. forum. I dont know, they should think that twice.....

Staff really need to get their acts together soon, or else there's going to be a lot of angry people (And they're going to leave, which is a decision that I will support in every way).

I honest to God didn't think that deviantART would sink as low as it has. I mean, the selection process for #help got changed a while ago, so people who really have a passion for helping others, and who know quite a bit about deviantART (Like myself) are shit upon

(And DON'T try to tell me that Helpers aren't just selected from the Members category in #devart.

I didn't believe that when I was first told about it then, I don't believe it now, and I will NEVER believe lies like that

)

Anywho, I didn't think deviantART would sink this low back then, but I didn't see this coming at all

why did they take that initiative? if the community is not agree with that they should do NOTHING.
The members make dA I mean we would go nowhere without the help forums too !
I've been told : thank you, you helped me out A LOT ... like one thousand times !! and theres a lot of ppl who has been told so before too. so i think it is a very stupid idea to close the forums but no one gives a damn about what i think and thats not fair. i cant believe there's not even a f*cking poll to see what we THE MEMBERS, THE D.A. THE COMMUNITY thinks about that...

I really dont get it !!!!

I would love to have both, but they don't have the staff to do both, as for the ignored aspect, those will be sent a link to the faq that applies. something they should have looked for in the first place.

Again, completely incorrect.

I'm sorry that in not selecting you for a helper that you feel the need to berate every other person involved in the help team, it's a shame really.

However, we do have standards, and after reading your comments and thoughts regarding how the help team work on dA, I'm even more convinced now that we made the correct decision.
