Sprague Lake Revisited

Sprague Lake in the evening. This is, quite honestly, my most favorite (personally) shot out of all the photos I took during my fairly recent vacation in Colorado

Summer definitely is sweet, and I think you've captured that feeling very well here. I love how the berries have such vivid color...

First off, I really like the idea you were going for here. To me, it looks kinda like a giant spinning top from an experiment gone wro...

Photography Prints

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 31, 2009, 6:59 PM
After much encouragement from a couple people in my family, I have finally decided to try selling my photography. Where am I selling it, you ask?

Here

I currently have 3 Prints up for sale. However, I will be uploading more in the future To give people the most options, I felt it would be best to offer a choice between Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, etc.

So come on down, buy a Print if you're interested:D

I've been alright, actually (Got a brand new Canon PowerShot camera, which I've a bit already).

I'm actually thinking of selling some of my photography over at RedBubble, since I've been told that I should really think about selling some of my work. Other than that, it's just been playin' on Xbox Live/Guild Wars, doin' stuff with my dog

How've you been?:D

Yeah, I saw your joural! Looks spiffy!

Hm, RedBubble - never heard of it! deviantART not getting enough sales for you, then?

I've been doing okay! I moved from Colorado to Louisiana in June, so that was fun - 5 day roadtrip, woo! Now I'm working part-time at a jewelry store here in Baton Rouge, and looking for a fulltime job as maybe a secretary or something, just so I can make more than minimum wage, you know? So it's been good. And my roommate and I just adopted a (now) four-month-old black kitten, so he's been tearing up the apartment (and our arms!), lol. Overall, fun times. :)

I know how kittens are (rambunctious little buggers)

I don't even have any Prints up here, tbh (can't afford the cost to get a Premium Print Acount, as I'm paying $50 a year for Xbox Live Gold membership).

Come to think of it, I was actually in Colorado for a week, visiting my sister/brother-in-law (They lived in Steamboat Springs at the time, but they live in Fort Collins now). I definitely have to go back to Colorado next summer, for sure:D

I keep forgetting that you have to pay for a prints account. I opted into the program back when it was just a one-time fee, so it's free for me. Yeah, if you can find some way to sell your prints on another site without having to pay a yearly fee then go for it! I hope you sell some stuff!

And yeah, I went to college up in Boulder for four years, and my parents are still living in Colorado Springs. I miss Colorado, but it's sure fun living down south (I've never explored the south too much, I've always lived in the northwest or in Europe)! I never made it to Steamboat Springs, though my sister would visit a friend in Ft. Collins from time to time while she went to UNC. Definitely go back, it's a great place! :)
